Tobias Waldner, Board Member of Comfone AG, qualified as a Master in Finance and Certified Auditing. He then acquired extensive experience in corporate finances and management in a variety of industries.

He began his career in 1965 at the Swiss Trust Company, which at that time was a major trust company in Switzerland and is now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers. His knowledge and depth of experience in the field of finance further developed as his career path took him to different companies, where he carried out the duties of Controller, Managing Director and also CFO for a group of industrial firms.

Mr. Waldner joined Swisscom Mobile in 1992, now the largest mobile operator in Switzerland, and later became Deputy to the Chief Executive Officer. In 2000, having acquired a solid understanding in the fundamentals of the fast-developing mobile telecommunications business, he established TOGEWA Holding, Comfone and its subsidiary companies together with his associates, Walter Heutschi, Géraldine Philippe and Toni Stadelmann.
