Ukraine's newest operator partners with Comfone Key2roam®

Life:) is the new GSM brand of 'Astelit', Ukraine's newest mobile operator. Having launched services in January 2005, it has offices in Kiev, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkov, Lvov, Odessa and Simferepol.

by the end of April, life:) coverage extended to 24 cities of Ukraine: Alushta, Vinnytsa, Horlivka, Dnipropetrovsk, Dniprodzerzhinsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Kryvy Rig, Kirovograd, Lugansk, Lviv, Mariupol, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Simferopol, Sevastopol, Ternopil, Feodosiya, Kharkiv, Cherkasy and Yalta. Further network coverage will be also available in Bila Tserkva, Lutsk, Sumy, Uzhgorod, Khmelnytsky and Chernigiv.

Astelit is an international company 51% indirectly owned by Turkcell and 49% owned by local shareholders. Astelit is offering high quality and innovative mobile services, a state of the art network with the latest technology in GSM-1800 standard, fast data transfer and good voice quality. The network already offers some of the most innovative services in the market, including Advanced video MMS, WAP, GPRS, Voice SMS and EDGE.

US$ 300 million will be invested by Astelit in the development of its Life:) network over the next two years, making it one of the largest international investments in the field of Ukrainian telecommunications.
