Training program for 2006

Comfone has updated its training program and is to hold a number of week-long training sessions during the year. Mobile operators are invited to take part in the training courses, which are to be held at Comfone's headquarters in Bern, Switzerland, and are aimed at improving the knowledge of roaming teams who manage all daily roaming activities.

The five-day training courses are split into four main subject areas;

• Roaming Management
• Signalling for Roaming
• Data and Financial Clearing
• GRX

Topics covered include:

• SS7 architecture
• MTP
• SS7 over IP
• International roaming agreements and processes
• Roaming revenue assurance
• Reporting for data and financial clearing
• GPRS roaming
• MMS
  

The next training courses are to be held on:

• 21-25 August 2006
