Mathias Prüssing named as Comfone’s new CEO

Bern, Switzerland, May 05, 2008 –Mathias Prüssing (40), the business executive with extensive experience in the telecoms industry, is to assume full responsibility for the running of Comfone in his new position as Chief Executive Officer. The appointment, effective immediately, brings a wealth of leadership skills and experience to Comfone, the Bern based specialist provider of roaming services to more than 300 mobile operators around the world.

An Attorney of Law, Mathias Prüssing has a degree in ‘Law and Economics’ as well as an Executive MBA in General Management from the University of St. Gallen (HSG). His experience within the field of telecommunications includes most recently his role as CEO of Infonet Switzerland, Bern, and his position as Head of Corporate Development for Swisscom Solutions, an entity of Swisscom AG.

Comfone, a leading wholesale hub of GSM and Public WLAN roaming, supports customers in over 125 countries from a service portfolio including signalling, data, clearing and convergence services.

Prüssing replaces Oscar Derrer, the company's CEO since February 2004, who will continue working for Comfone in the area of customer relations in his new position as Executive Vice President.
