Class of Service

Fully MPLS enabled network.

The Comfone backbone is fully MPLS enabled and offers Class of Service. An MPLS network has two main advantages to operator's using data services:

• Allows traffic to be prioritised based on type e.g. voice traffic has a higher priority than email traffic

• MPLS provides optimised routing, resulting in reducing latency
If a customer requires higher traffic classes with guaranteed end-to-end quality of service, Comfone recommends enhanced access.
