Interconnection

Interconnection broadens coverage even further.

MMS Hub providers connect their networks in a process that is termed interconnection. To enable operators connected to one MMS Hub to interchange MMS with all operators connected to a second MMS Hub interconnection is required on the IP backbone network and on the MMS delivery level. With interconnection there is no need for operators to have either a direct commercial or technical relationship with the second MMS Hub.

• Interconnection on the IP backbone level
  Comfone has extensive peering relationships on the access level   with all major GRX providers via the GSMA peering points. Please   refer to our Peering List for more details.

• Interconnection on the MMS delivery level
  To allow interconnection on the MMS delivery level Comfone has
  interconnected to all other major MMS Hub providers.
