Overseas ConneXion: Largest ever crowd

We were delighted to host our largest ever crowd at an overseas ConneXion, meeting delegates from across the world. Guests enjoyed a three day event complete with conference sessions, partner presentations, workshops and lots of networking opportunities.

Opening a new office

During ConneXion Bangkok, we announced the exciting news that we will be opening our first office outside of Switzerland, in the centre of Bangkok.

Panel discussion with industry experts

Comfone welcomed a number of industry experts for a lively and exciting panel discussion. Loo Boon Chee from Bridge Alliance, Roula Mostratou from United Group, Michael Nelson from Telenor Linx and Johannes Opitz from Deutsche Telekom. Above all, the panel focused on the new ecosystem: challenges and opportunities for the future of roaming. Dhiraj Wazir from ROCCO acted as the moderator for the panel.

Conference sessions

The Comfone team designed the conferences to focus around the new roaming ecosystem, and the way that we can support you via Key2roam Platform. Moreover, we were delighted to share the stage with customers and industry experts, to get their take on the industry and Comfone.

With representatives from all of Comfone’s core and value added services, the agenda featured interesting topics for all participants!

Some Comfone partners also delivered insightful sessions, with presentations from Cellusys, Roamsysnext, Segron, Infobip and Amplitiv.

Academy Training Day

We concluded ConneXion with an Academy Training Day, where our speakers provided clarity on new industry topics and gave some handy tips and tricks. Dhiraj Wazir from ROCCO U provided a fascinating session on 5G roaming, and Johannes Kaiser from Roamsysnext gave us valuable information on the GSMA InfoCentre.

Networking opportunities

No ConneXion is complete without networking opportunities and evening events, and likewise, ConneXion Bangkok did not disappoint. With soaring rooftop bars, royal gardens, funky seafood restaurants, delicious streetfood and karaoke, there was something for everyone!
