Global Digital Platforms are joining the Key2roam Hub to exchange Mobile User Authentication requests using A2P One-Type Password (OTP) SMS and API-based Silent Authentication Phone Number Verification as per GSMA TS.43.

As 88% of internet users access services via mobile, PNV (Phone Number Verification) is becoming a standard for seamless authentication, which allows for simplified user verification, increasing the rate of mobile user registrations during customer onboarding or login.
Silent Verification
There is high growth potential for PNV, as the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector leads in adoption of broader password-free authentication.
Due to high security requirements and regulatory pressures like PSD2, many organisations are shifting toward carrier APIs for silent verification.

Consequently, the future lies in the API-based Service Entitlement Protocols for which the TS.43 is a key GSMA specification that defines the standardised procedure for service entitlement configuration on devices during activation or verification.
